This project will involve video production, and we are looking for people of any experience level. Whether you've been in front of a camera before or never at all, we'd love to hear from you.
Inclusive casting — seeking diverse talent of all backgrounds and abilities.
Who We Need:
Father and daughter: a man aged roughly 30–45 and a girl aged around 5–7. We're after a warm, natural pairing with an easy, gentle presence. Real fathers and daughters are welcome to apply together, though not essential.
Male lead (50s): a warm, good-humoured man for a scene shared with a female lead. An easy, affectionate on-screen presence is what matters most. Some light, natural performance required, but no extensive experience needed.
Older community group (70+): a group of older adults to appear as extras in a lovely, feel-good scene. We'd especially welcome existing groups who already meet up (bingo, cards, choir, coffee mornings or similar) who'd enjoy taking part together. No experience needed at all; you'll simply be yourselves in a relaxed group setting.
Duration: Approximately half a day for each of the roles above.
Dates: Filming is provisionally scheduled for either w/c October 19th or 26th
Props: three 1970s cars:
We're also looking to hire three period-appropriate cars from the 1970s to feature as background in an outdoor scene. We'd love to hear from owners of well-kept everyday vehicles from the era (family saloons, estates and runarounds such as a Ford Cortina, Morris Marina, Ford Escort or Vauxhall Viva) rather than anything too pristine or exotic, as we're after an authentic, lived-in feel. Owners would be welcome on set with their vehicles, which will simply be parked in shot and not driven for filming.
