Two members of the TPA account management department recently passed their IPA Foundation Certificate exam, to take their first steps towards MIPA qualification under the UK’s most prestigious advertising institution. Senior Account Manager Lizzie Collins (Jersey) and Account Manager Jo Mauger (Guernsey) both passed the 2 hour formal exam.
As the world’s number one professional advertising qualification, the course helps them to gain an essential overview of all areas of advertising, including understanding consumers, their motivations and how to influence purchasing decisions through the science of choice. It also taught them how to write strategies that sell, the roles of different media, how to use data and how to measure the success of your work.
TPA is the only agency in the Channel Islands which holds membership of the IPA, and in order to remain accredited must ensure that 24 hours of professional development per person are recorded each year, providing confidence to our clients that our team are constantly developing and honing their skillset.
David Legge, Senior Account Director and Accredited Member of the IPA (MIPA), congratulated the team ”We’re thrilled with Lizzie and Jo's achievements! At TPA, we believe that developing our team and helping them to gain qualifications such as these is paramount to growing our clients’ businesses and ensuring that we remain a partner they can trust and depend on. With many other members of the team enrolled on other IPA courses, we hope to celebrate even more success later this year.”
